You will be the touchpoint for all event-related matters, ensuring smooth operation and impeccable execution. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at a prestigious Marriott property, where your efforts are recognized and rewarded. Act as the primary on-site contact for event organizers from pre-event planning through post-event follow up. Coordinate with various departments including catering, audio-visual, and housekeeping to ensure all aspects of each event are delivered to the highest standard. Manage guest inquiries and provide timely responses to ensure satisfaction. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events in a professional and efficient manner. Prepare detailed event reports and communicate relevant information to management and relevant teams. Monitor event activities to comply with all applicable laws, service standards, company policies and safety regulations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage stress and solve problems under pressure Knowledge of event planning components Familiarity with venue management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar certification is highly regarded First Aid and CPR certifications preferred
