You will develop and build out of the analytical environment for various department across the orgranization with a focus on the Finance and HR functions. The goal is to provide a standard and consistent reporting environment for the company and its stakeholders.Client DetailsA growing organization that owns and operates multiple companies and has over $10 billion of total invested assets. This opening is with the holding company, which primarily performs oversight functions for its companies.Description

• Strategic partner to the senior leaders of the departments across the organization to improve analytical transparency by developing automated capabilities
• Establish controlled data points and ensure all areas across the organization are using consistent and approved data
• Perform as a data steward and assist in transforming standard/non-standard data into meaning information for better decision making
• Partner with businesses to establish Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards/scorecards
• Develop dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies
• Support and assist with implementation, maintenance, and review of the data into the internal data system
• Gather and analyze client requirements, processes, and assist stakeholder interviews
• Analyze and evaluate end user's reporting needs and translate business requirements into a detailed technical designProfile
  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Managed Information System or Data Science, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to review detailed financial information and consolidate into a management-level story
  • Effective influencer and thought leader to help drive key business decisions and initiatives by partnering closely across teams and functions
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-reliant and able to motivate others
  • Track record of success in managing and developing a team
