Job Description:
A West Palm Beach-based general contractor is seeking a Project
Manager with strong experience delivering K-12 renovation projects.
This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful educational
facility projects while working with a stable, community-focused
construction firm. Client Details This well-established general
contractor has been operating in the South Florida construction
market for over a decade, with a strong portfolio of K-12
renovations and public sector work. Known for their commitment to
quality, safety, and client satisfaction, they have long-standing
relationships with local school districts and take pride in
delivering on-time, in-budget results. Description Oversee the full
project lifecycle for K-12 renovation projects from preconstruction
through closeout. Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors,
and clients to maintain scheduling and budget expectations. Review
and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change
orders, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with all safety
protocols and school board regulations. Communicate effectively
with all stakeholders, including school officials and internal
teams. Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to
ownership and clients. Profile 5 years of experience as a Project
Manager in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on K-12
or institutional renovation work. Proven ability to manage multiple
subcontractors, schedules, and budgets concurrently. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with
construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is
preferred, but not required. Must be local to West Palm Beach or
willing to commute regularly to job sites in the surrounding area.
Job Offer Competitive base salary in the range of $110,000-$140,000
depending on experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities.
