Job Description:
The General Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing a
team of superintendents (5 to 7) focused on a large projects in
Palm Beach County and Martin County Florida. Client Details Our
client is a Developer and General Contractor with a strong pipeline
of projects in Palm Beach County and Martin County, Florida.
Description Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate daily
construction activities for large commercial, hospitality, or
multifamily projects from inception to completion. Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of project superintendents, ensuring
clear communication, accountability, and professional development.
Safety Management: Enforce strict compliance with all safety
regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a safe work
environment. Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and update
project schedules to ensure timely completion of all project
milestones. Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance processes,
ensuring work adheres to project specifications, drawings, and
codes. Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to
control costs and prevent budget overruns. Coordination: Liaise
with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to
ensure smooth project flow. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve
on-site issues promptly to minimize project delays. Reporting:
Provide detailed reports on project progress, safety, and budget
status to executive management. Profile Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
preferred. 15 years of experience in large commercial, hospitality,
or multifamily construction projects. Proven leadership skills with
experience supervising multiple superintendents or construction
teams. Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, building
codes, and quality protocols. Excellent project management,
organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read and
interpret plans, specifications, and contracts. Proficiency in
