This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who wants to make a significant impact on our company's financial success. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports while adhering to the highest standards of financial management and corporate governance. This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a confident, results-driven individual with a strong background in construction accounting, ready to take on the challenge of managing our financial systems and processes. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management. Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the financial data. Implement and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits. Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and assist in strategic planning. Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable. Proficient in HRIS, general ledger, and account reconciliations. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating and presenting detailed reports. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions and process improvement.
